Faculty Grant Support

CASID works with MSU faculty to match their expertise with various federal/international agencies, foundations, and corporate sources of funding.

CASID staff assists MSU faculty in reviewing funding program guidelines and policies, provides guidance in the preparation of proposals and budgets—particularly in regard to the technical aspects of proposal preparation, including budgeting, subcontracting, and completion of necessary forms and templates—and assists in moving proposals through the MSU contract and grant administration process. In addition, CASID continues to support Strategic Partnership Grant proposals that focus on international development issues.

The center may also serve as the administering unit for international development grants or contract work, handling the program and financial management of specific projects in order to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. Please contact Robert Glew, CASID Director, at (517) 353-4818, or glew(at), if you are interested in discussing grant opportunities and ways CASID can assist MSU faculty.
