Students interested in earning certification in the Undergraduate Specialization in International Development must meet with the adviser for the specialization to develop a plan for completing the necessary requirements.
The student will be coded for the specialization with the Registrar's Office. Upon applying for graduation from Michigan State University, the Registrar's Office will send a form to the adviser asking for verification that the student has completed the requirements for the specialization.
It is important that the student works with the specialization adviser as he or she in the same way he or she would work with an academic adviser.
A separate certificate for the specialization in International Development may be requested from the specialization adviser.
